Each player is treated six cards. In the initial round, each player selects three undesired cards and passes them face-down for the player on his left. No player is allowed to see his new cards right up until everyone has passed. The second round matches the first, only with a couple of cards, then a third spherical with one card. A round of betting employs the cards have been treated and again after each spherical of passing. Players now have six cards inside their hand, from which the finest 5-card poker hand wins.

Pass your unwanted cards to the left, pick up another player's undesired cards, and make a composite 5-card hand a lot better than the rest.
mix it upwards
There are a few versions:
Alter the amount of commencing cards (seven cards is reasonable).
Increase another round of passing charge cards (start with four).
Alter the pattern with the passing of the cards (left, proper, diagonal), perhaps by round.
