Aims in the Card Game 4 You Site
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
http://cgame4you.blogspot.com/

By publishing rules involving games, I am not suggesting there's a single "correct" way for you to

play each game. Most card games have many minor variations and house regulations - to play

successfully, it is only necessary that this players should all agree on the rules at first of a

session. Where probable, I try to make sure the rules given here are "authentic" - the thing is

that they should match the way regular players in the game actually play it. If you'll find

significant variations, I try to feature these as options. For online games with official

organisations and regulations, official rules may be granted, but unofficial alternative versions

can be included.

The main focus is in publishing rules of traditional card games for 2 or more players. I use the

term traditional card games to distinguish them from

commercial games - games meant to be played with special equipment bought through the publisher of

the game
solitaire or patience games - games first player
invented games - games which tend not to yet have a well established tradition of play in addition

to the original inventor(s)

For traditional multi-player card games, I estimate that the site thus far covers at most 30% to

50% in the card games that exist, determined by how you count variations, so there exists plenty

more work to be practiced, and all help is gratefully gotten. Originally I intended to target games

which were difficult to acquire elsewhere - for example inside widely available books about card

games - but there turned out also becoming a demand for pages on well-known games including Bridge,

Poker and Canasta, so these are actually included as well. The mix of material which is now on the

spot has been influenced by your contributions people have offered us, by the questions I are

actually asked, and by my private tastes. There is plenty of home elevators other card games, but

it does take the time to edit it and produce the idea in electronic form.

Although We are not actively developing the portions on commercial, solitaire and conceived games,

I am happy to take delivery of material about these, which are going to be placed in separate

sections in the site.

The site does not carry detailed home elevators collectible card games (trading minute card games).

This is not to suggest there's anything wrong with these games - just actually outside the scope of

this great site.

The site does not present on-line games, nor does it generally carry software for downloading. I

will however invest links to other sites which do carry on-line card games or downloadable card

games software package if people tell me with regards to them.
